Reverend: Did you hear the bad news ... the Roadhouse in Carlsville, WI, burned to the ground. It was there that my wife, Patti, and I were first introduced to "RR&TCSAB;." See you Tuesday!

I like the new website. Very pleasing to the eyes.
WOW... cool new website!
Saw the Reverend and his boys at the Slippery Noodle in Indianapolis last week. They never disappoint the audience. When they are within 100 or so miles from our home we make it a point to see them. I describe their music as jumping blues.
Great Band and friendly.
the show on nye with cranston was awesome hope you both do it again next year
Hi-jacked this from the Bayfront Blues Board: Reverend Raven and the Chain-Smoking Alter Boys burned down the Ramada, last night (NYE)! They were so smokin' hot, they melted all the snow ! Great seeing everyone. Happy New Year to those blues folks that I did not get a chance to talk to. (Roz) I couldn't agree with you more. I really believe that many Blues fans feel they have become the "premiere band" in the Upper Midwest. Hearing Bruce McCabe play with the Altar Boys on NYE, brings back sweet memories of when Mickey Larson (RIP) was playing the "keys" with Rev. This is reason enough to pick up the new CD, "Shake Your Boogie", where Mickey is featured along with some old cuts with Madison Slim. If you like this band, this Cd is a "must have" that truly captures the "live sound" of this great band. Do yourself a favor a get a copy. Happy New Year, Gentleman Jim
The new CD looks great and sounds great, definitely the tightest album so far. Loved the show at O'Marros Dec 18th!
Great show at Blues Saloon on Saturday night! I picked up the new CD "Shake Your Boogie" and it is wonderful. In my opinion, it is the best yet and belongs in every stocking this Christmas.

I've been seeing you guys annually at the Bayfront Blues Fest. Had a craving for you and was willing to travel to Milwaukee to see you before the new year and to my delight you are playing at the Saratoga Dec 5th!! So excited! I'll be there with a bunch of girls to dance the night away!

Oh my god can Big Al play the sax I think he came out of his mama playing it!! The Reverends guitar playing was perfect! We loved it when you walked out into the crowd while continuing to play I guess the days of tied to the stage with a cord is history, just loved it!! Thanks for the great show and we hope you come back to our area again soon. We will be checking your schedule to see if any upcoming gigs are close enough to drive to. Wow! What a show Saturday night. Bill and I were blown away. Can't wait for the next CD! Cheers.
A couple of typos (beeritis ya know). It should read "I like watching you walk" in the second verse. And the last line in the second verse should read "Makes me want to sing." But overall, I am pleased with this song. I think It's not too bad considering I've had a few drinks tonight.
Loved your show tonight! A different style of blues that I loved Your style made me come up with this song after the show. Wife for the night Copyright 2009 David McCallister crazymactech@gmail.com You excite me baby Such a sexy lady You're looking so fine Wish you were mine I like walking you walk Your moves stall my talk The way you move everything Make me want to sing Never seen a woman so fine I want to make you mine Getting with you would be just right Would you be my wife for the night Would you shake my world Would you be my naughty girl Wold you hold me real tight Would you be my wife for the night Do you have a sugar daddy Lord I want to be your daddy Get with me for the night It would feel just right Do you have a man Does he understand Does he treat you right Would you be my wife for the night Have you ever watched A video where you walked Such a sweet sweet scene It's every man's dream I love it when you wear those high heels Your body moves with such appeal Everything is looking just right Would you be my wife for the night

Hello Reverend Raven and the Chain Smokin Alter Boys! I saw your band sometime back in 2005/2006? in Racine, WI. At the time you did not have a website and I guess I gave up looking. To my surprise I found your website today and I am soooo excited. I am always telling everyone I meet that loves blues like I do, that you are the best blues band around. I am definitly going to catch you all in Milwaukee on the 21st of August!!!!! Sheri Eisch
I saw you guys at the Big Bull Blues Fest on August 16th and you stole the show!! I wish I could have seen you jam at the Fillmor but I had to work at 11:00. Hope you are there next year.
Hope you will be able to return to the Midway in Mishawaka.
YIKES! Are those angels the latest band groupies?
Saw your gig in Cleveland at Fat Fish Blues. It had to suck for you, no one was there. For me it was fabulous, I had this GREAT blues band almost all to myself. The band did not seem to mind. They played as if there were 500 people there.Coming to your gig on Sept 27th at Brews Cafe in Grandville Ohio. Look for the Greater Akron Motorcycle club. We will be chearing you on! Kepp the blues ALVIE! Keith
Hello Raven: I'm looking to catch up with Madison Slim. He knows me from Seattle (I also know RJ from San Fran.) but now I live in Chicago. I'd like to come check you guys out, regardless, but if there is a date with Slim that would be great. Thanks, Jaime Sheets
Was at Summer Fest 6/26/08. What a great performance! Slim is amazing; very very talented person. Of course the Rev. is also very talented and entertaining. I love seeing their performances. I am from Rockton,Il. so I see the performances at Big Cities Lounge in Rockford. I love the harmonica; Slim certainly makes it dance to the music!! Quite the musician!
Hello Rev: I first heard you at the Nautical Inn Bar in Door County. I have been a big fan since. I have been out here on the east coast and became friends with Paul Benjamin of the North Atlantic Blues Fest. I told him about you guys and gave him some of your music to sample. I understand that you will be playing at his Time Out PUB in Rockland this fall. This is a great venue and you will have a great time there. I unfortunatly will not be in the area at that time and will miss you. I promise to tell everyone I meet at the Time Out to be sure to not miss your show. FYI the show starts at 7:00 Pm not 9:00. Two sets and the place rocks. This is an amazing place for the Blues as many top national acts and international acts play there. Keep it up and I hope to see you again sometime. In the mean time I have my I POD.
The Train Station Deopt in La Crosse, you Boys were great.you go through life listing to music but the blues linger in your heart forever. I printed out your calendar. I'm not much of a festival person but there are many other places to see you. Thanks for the good time in La Crosse!
You've always been great, Rev. Been listening to you since ya started! Got you live at Sande's from 2/22/03 with Slim and Rick Holmes on bass. Twas a great show! Thanks for keepin' the blues alive! Clydemonster
My first live blues experience was at Blues on 52 Crawdad Festival Chatfield Minnesota June 7. I was entranced by the whole experience. The Rev walking out into the street playing his guitar was the highlight. I believe!! A new fan.
Absolutely enjoyed listening and dancing to your music at RiverSplash May 30. I'll be listening and dancing again soon. Sincerely, another new fan.
Saw you at River Splash on Fri and Sat. FABULOUS!!! You have 4 new fans!

Fellas, We are looking forward to having you here in Northern Michigan at the Alpena Blues Festival in June. Dennis Putnam (original Chairman of The Alpena Blues Coalition)
Hey Rev...It was great Jammin' with you at Robert Allen Jr.'s gig at the Brickhouse a couple of weeks ago. I was the dude playin' some harp. I see you are at Liquid Johnny's again with Rick Holmes tomorrow. You need a harp player? Let me know.
What do you have when a lawyer is buried up to his neck in sand? Not enough sand.
PT! Kay McCarthy here in Boulder Colorado. I watched you playing on You Tube! That warmed my thoughts tonight. It's been a long time and I hope you remember the last time Michael and I came to see you and Jeff playing in Muskego or Hales Corners. Reverend Raven is superb - of course. You're still the greatest bassist, only more so. If you find yourself touring out here in the wild, wild west, we would love to see you hard at work. Best Regards, Kay McCarthy-Hamers

Hi Rev, I'm the one who called you today about getting 2 of the Slow Burn CD's at your show in Fargo on 2-9. Please email me so I can send you my address. p.s. your show was AWESOME!!! your were the headliner in my opinion!!!
Big apology to everyone who showed up at Checker's on Sunday. I cancelled the gig while on the road and didn't get near a computer to send an e-mail. Gig was cancelled because of band member illness and no-one to fill in for the gig. Best Rev
Received recent communication from Mother Superior. Many thanx! Thrilled to discover future booking at Thirsty Ear in Columbus-can,t wait! Fat Fish Blue in Cleveland is an excellent venue-strongly recommend Jennie Pennies Chicken & Biscuits-YUM!
It would have been a wonderful idea for someone to let us folks in Iowa know that last nights show had been canceled. A few of us once die-hard fans ventured out in the cold and drove to Checkers. Big big disappointment. Checked the web site before leaving. Hmmmm, probably won't be as eager next time.
Really enjoyed your show in Fargo last night. Hope to see you again somewhere.
Here's hoping the sudden chill doesn't keep you away. Looking forward to tommorw at Checkers
I know this is "kinda" like preachin' to the choir, but just want to thank the "Rev" for another wonderful night of music last night at Neumann's Bar in N St Paul. As always, it was a very rewarding evening. I can't think of another band that captures the sound & beat like these guys. Have a wonderful trip to the "Islands" The Best, Gentleman Jim & Virginia

I saw you guys for the first time on 05/25 at the Hody in Middleton. That was unbelievable. Really. Amazing sound...makes it possible for people who can't dance move from somewhere they've never before. ...and easier for people like me who love to dance, find a partner. Looks like I'm going to have to plan a road trip to see you again anytime soon. I'm calling my sister right now so she takes her friends to go see you in Appleton tomorrow night.
To anyone checking out this guestbook...if you haven't seen these guys yet, wahat are you waiting for? Great sound, neat original stuff, a must to see. See ya in Rockford again soon. Harpo Mark
Rev- Remember me??? Drummer from "The Valley?" I used to sit-in with you at the "Harvey-Dome" in Oshkosh. Truly some of my fondest memories was playing with you before you obtained notoriety. Even years ago you I said you were a "Powerhouse" on guitar. There are very few guys who can do as many things as you can do. You always kept the house rock'n and you deserve every award you have earned. Hopefully I will see your show this summer. Seeing the Reverand in action...is truly a "spiritual experience." Bless you and your bandmates...a fan always. Shuggy/ Drummer
It was really great last night at Thunder Bay. The sax sounded fine.
